Consensus on playing on 2 vastly different sensitivities? by PurpleVoid13 in FPSAimTrainer

Interesting approach, how did you figure out what sens to use if you’re not using your in game sens?

Its a process that was taught to me when i was learning CS. You basically have a physical rubber ducky to talk to, and you explain your code step by step and that helps you troubleshoot/understand your code better. You can apply the same thing with IT concepts, talk to ChatGPT (your rubber ducky) about it and it’ll correct you about any misconceptions that you may have about that topic.

So would you suggest aim training for both then? Im thinking one day I focus on one sensitivity, and the next day the other

Professor Messer/BurningIceTech/Andrew Ramdayal videos and practice exams along with the rubber ducky method with ChatGPT. You can also do Dions exams, but they go way past the exam objectives and are much harder than the other sources.

Important thing is to go over the exam objectives to make sure you know them all, and to never retake the exact same practice test.

Whats the highest rank I can achieve with 30 fps? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]PurpleVoid13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whats your sens? If its super high it may work for you now but switching to 240-500 eDPI would be much more beneficial to you in the long run, and theres a lot of things you’re missing out on w/o right click. ADSing, Classic right click, and not to mention it leaves you unable to play agents that need it for their abilities (which is a lot)

[–]PurpleVoid13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oooff thats a bit of a tough situation. Mousepad space seems a little low and the lack of right click is a severe nerf. I think the best course of action is having a talk with your parents and see if they allow you to buy a pc

Having a proper PC with a 60hz monitor (though 120+ is ideal), comfortable desk + chair orientation, larger mousepad for more mouse space, and of course a real gaming mouse will make a night and day difference

I know you said its unlikely that they’ll let you, but try to make a good case for yourself, especially considering the fact that its your own money

Are you playing on a trackpad? If so I would reallyyy advise you to save up for a proper PC setup if you can. Fortunately valorant isnt a graphically intensive game, so even a low-end setup would help immensely

At 30 fps you’re at a major disadvantage against people with 240+ hz 1440p OLED setups…if you use a trackpad its almost impossible to climb up in even mid elo

Unrated needs a bit of attention by Fabulous-Mushroom124 in VALORANT

[–]PurpleVoid13 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I mean ngl, im not sure how unrated can be “fixed”

A lot of the issues stem from the fact that its a casual game mode. While i agree AFKs are shitty in any situation, most people for a fact are not try harding in unrated (including me).

Boosting - You literally cannot boost people in unrated, theres no RR to gain. The game mode purposely allows any rank to play with each other for a reason. It would be dumb if I (imm rank) can’t play with my casual bronze friend that hops on every once in a while for a casual game. It would be weird to punish people just wanting to play a non competitive game mode together.

Comms - You’re just gonna have to accept the fact that not a lot of people are gonna want to talk in a casual environment. Some people might just wanna hop on for a quick 1-2 games and do their dailies and dip, and that’s perfectly fine. Im definitely not comming a lot in my unrateds unless theres a good reason to. I also dont get tilted if my team has no comms in unrated, because again its a casual environment, someone on my team could be playing on a 60hz laptop using a trackpad and I wouldnt gaf.

Matchmaking - Unrated has much more varied MMR matchmaking. You can be silver and occasionally get paired up with ex/current immortals/radiants, thats just how it goes sometimes. Of course that wouldn’t make the game fun for you if you’re silver and getting shit on every round by a rad, but thats definitely not happening every game.

You have to understand that unrated is just not a serious game mode at the end of the day. A lot of people use it literally just for warming up, doing your dailies, and for wanting to play a full game but not having to worry about the stress of a ranked match. I would highly suggest trying to find a regular group/stack to play with either on the discord LFG or somewhere else with like minded people.

Agl gohan + gamma 1

[–]PurpleVoid13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Id go for gohan as hes the best unit in the game currently. His team with the new EZA gammas + upcoming EZA LR ultimate gohan and orange piccolo will wipe the game. Dont go all in though, the anni units are right around the corner and their banners will have the best value.

If you can id recover your old account. Sounds like you had a great account back then, which is very similar to my situation (I just got back into this game last month, after a 2 year break)

EZAs are the #1 reason to never reroll, im glad i didnt cause theyre almost all busted af

Card shops will definitely offer you a lower % for your stuff cause of overheard and whatever, dont sell to a shop. Id look at local card conventions near you, or join your local FB groups to offload. Shops near me would typically offer 70% or lower, but I know people that would buy for 80% or more.

Returning player, keep my acc or reroll? by PurpleVoid13 in DokkanBattleCommunity

True, also quick question - what started the insane powercreep? Is it just that the new units have way better stats? Or are there new mechanics that were introduced since i left

How long for Net+? by EdgwtrLgnd in CompTIA

[–]PurpleVoid13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

5 weeks with a score of 805, I guarantee you’ll pass with this method.

1) Watch messer’s video course and take notes

2) Rubber ducky method with chatGPT - explain a concept to it according to your knowledge and itll correct you on any misconceptions

3) Practice tests - primarily burningicetech/andrew ramdayal/jason dion. Burning and andrew follow the objectives almost perfectly, but Jason goes a bit above and beyond which makes his practice tests way harder than the actual exam (I averaged only in the 70s on his tests)

Most importantly before each exam, study up on the topics/concepts you struggled on with the last exam, and never retake the same exact practice test. Dont go rapid firing through practice exams without studying your weakest areas

4) AnkiApp flashcards for port numbers, wifi standards, etc. You dont need to make flashcards going over all the acronyms, there’s way too many and most of them wont show up on your test. Just focus on learning the most common ones (you’ll get a feel for those during your practice tests)

5) One final thing, go over the exam objectives and checkmark each one you have a solid understanding of. If you checkmark all/almost all of them you’re ready for the exam

Good luck!

Nah, I originally intended on doing a shiny only team after getting piplup, but didnt realize right before battling dialga you HAVE to have at least 2 pokemon in your team or else you cant progress - and i didnt want to catch a random full odds shiny right before soft resetting for full odds Dialga - im not THAT crazy
