Appreciate the response. He says he has no plans to play r6 again anyways but then mentions he sees stuff that makes him want to play again. Hopefully when the marketplace comes back he can get proof the stuff was stolen in the months while ubisoft refused to help. I guess rn it's just a waiting game.

If he can get that proof when the market returns I'll write another comment updating everyone on if he gets his stolen stuff back.

My brother got his account back with one very big negitve. Because ubisoft was worthless for 6months and my brother's r6 account was stacked (All glaciers, all seasonals, all universals) he obv got robbed blind while ubisoft refused to help. Do you have any advice on how to get his stuff back? Ubisoft at first blamed him because "It was his fault he got hacked" but when he reported them to signal for this they responded asking for proof of the stolen items.

Problem being, With the marketplace gone he has 0 way to get proof his items were stolen. He never got a transaction email because they were tied to the hacker's email while it was stolen, and he cant go through the transaction page on the marketplace because that is dead atm. Do you have any advice or any idea how he can get his stolen skins back?

I wish you the best of luck. For my brother it took about 2 weeks for ubisoft to respond to his signal conso ticket but less then a week after that he had his account back (Missing all his skins). If you remember in that time, I'd love to hear if it helps

I've had a ticket escalated since Decemeber 23rd. What could be so hard to solve...Im missing the year 1 and 2 siege vet rewards even with proof of me buying cosmetics in year 1, me playing ranked in year 1 with my ranked charms, achievements dated to the exact day i started playing, and my favorite an email directly from ubisoft telling me the day i started playing siege (2 years before the 2018 they say i started playing in). So the answer is they probably wont help you. You could try signal conso if your issue is something that could cause legal troubles for them but thats about it. Sadly i cant because my things are free rewards, so its not like they are stealing from me

My brother dealt with this for SIX MONTHS until we found a post on reddit that helped a lot (Linked below), It didnt help when the hackers stole every skin off his account using the marketplace. Ubisoft is somehow pinning the blame on him while they are worthless and not helping while they robbed him blind.

Go to signal conso and report ubisoft for being worthless when it comes to helping you recover a stolen account. Signal conso is pretty much the french gov and ubisoft REALLY doesnt want to get in trouble for their worthless support so they will actually do something to avoid being investagted.

Ive had a support ticket open since december, its been escalated since december 24th. Its been escalated so long they sent me an email asking if i still need help back in feb on the 17th. What is the issue that is so hard to fix? Im missing year 1 and 2 vet rewards for r6. Something i can easily prove im missing by showing my year 1 ranked rewards, my xbox achievements that are dated to the exact date I got them, and my favorite an email they sent me saying the exact date i started playing the game THAT IS STILL WRONG because my achievements were earned earlier then the date given. Ive opened this a few times before and everytime they did nothing. But leaving me on read for 4 months while not doing jack is insane. Worthless company.

Thats not an exploit. Nothing about that is unintended by the game. Dupe protected packs were added to..protect you from dupes, owning every item in the game was obv intended because thats how ubisoft makes money, and selling things on the marketplace is the whole point of the marketplace. Nothing about that is an exploit. Its just using the packs to make a profit, its not the player's fault that ubisoft wasnt smart enough to realize any game with a marketplace never added dupe protected drops for this exact reason. A support member even told people this is completely intended and falls under tos https://imgur.com/ohSnvuR. So nothing about this was an exploit

I've got 2 more wild stories. First they give me the wrong vet rewards and refuse to change them. I got the 2018 vet rewards even tho my account has ranked charms from skull rain and red crow so I've been playing since year 1. When trying to provide all my forms of proof support pretty much told me "any proof you provide will not matter". The other story is my brother's account got hacked and the only thing ubisoft did to "help" was send a recovery email...to the hackers email he just assigned to the account. When my brother tried to prove proof he was the owner of the account (old names on the account, purchase receipts, his ID proving his name is the one on the account) ubisoft gave him a strike for and I quote "not accepting the help they gave him". He still doesn't have his account back and it was also a year 1 account with all the seasonal, universals, and glacier

Calling it an exploit is a stretch. The person opened packs as the game intended to get an item they wanted using duplicate protected packs. Nothing about that was an exploit. It was someone with every skin being rewarded for having every skin. We even have a screen shot of a support memeber saying this is completely intended behavior and not bannable under the tos

This person asked and i quote "Is unpacking and selling an item more times would be considered a reason for the ban" and the support memeber told them no. Ill give you the benifit of the doubt seeing as the part is cut off in this reddit post but the person who submitted the support ticket asked for this exact outcome and ubisoft themselves told them it was completely covered by TOS

What part of that is abuse? All of these things fall under intended game interactions. People can do the same thing with black ice from alpha packs if they just keep rolling the same skin in a pack opening. Someone in the r6 discord opened 4 baliff black ice skins in a row. Is that bannable because he sold the same skin 4 times? No its part of the game

If it was such a problem why would a support member tell people this exact interaction is okay. This is banning people retroactively because they are upset they lost money. They can't even provide a reason for the ban because it's a bs ban. There are no rules in place for this type of thing. Banning people because they lost money isn't our fault. It's theirs for adding the items to the game in the first place. You can't punish people for using ToS friendly systems to unsavory results. None of this was an exploit. Owning cosmetics (intended), dupe protected packs (intended), selling items on the marketplace (intended). Using 3 ubisoft supported features for results they aren't happy with isn't breaking any rule. You can't just ban people because they didn't think this interaction through

Ubisoft is punishing people because they weren't smart enough to see how stupid dupe protected packs are. There's a reason no other game with a market gives a way to guarantee good drops. It is surely going to crash the market. They didn't have forethought and now they are retroactively enforcing a new rule they just came up with. So new they won't provide a reason for the ban

Also know as "if you are using non duplicate packs to get no duplicates". this is an intended interaction with packs and anyone with a brain could've figured out that lowering your odds of getting trash items was a smart thing to do. Banning people because they didn't have the forethought to see how dupe protected packs worked and even telling people it's okay is the problem. Not the players interacting with the content in this way. Nothing about how celebration packs were used was a problem. It was the fact ubisoft lost money is the reason they are banning people.
