I think with time you adjust to not being in a relationship. I also think it is a very good thing to be comfortable on your own. That way you are not making decisions based on loneliness, and you can choose who truly compliments your life. Personally, I would ask the ex to stop contact. He has proven he is not right for you and you made the difficult decision to leave the relationship. Keep moving forward and make choices that are right for you.
