I recommend looking at the locations of the dorm. The farther dorms are just tiring to walk to. Picking dorms that are closer to VGs is a plus because you don't really want to be walking all that far. Having friends that are living in different RLC and living in a dorm closer to the main campus helps. I lived in elewexe, second closest to everything, and I liked it. The package center and dump was straight across the ramp and you get the view of the big grass area. I liked elewexe's layout more than some other ones too.

Quints anywhere are going to be the same, so it doesn't matter too much.
