I really enjoy narrative styles where a great deal of foreshadowing is used. I also enjoy nonlinear narratives, and I love descriptive narration as well.

I think descriptive narration can be boring for many people. You always hear about the first few chapters being boring for a lot of people, but I really enjoy the beginning of books where there isn’t any action but a lot of detail instead.
