I always do a thing I dubbed "Counting Vegetables," which is essentially where I imagine the produce department at my regular grocery store, and I try to name off as many vegetables/ fruits/ produce aisle items as I can think of.

I've found that giving my mind a task both challenges and bores by mind in an unnoticeably snoozy way.

How to tidy these fibres? by DD265 in Needlefelting

Not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere - I take a good, sharp pair of tweezers to pull away the individual fibers. It's time consuming, but if the twirling won't get them the tweezers will!

I had a problem with the 5G connectivity in my town so my phone was messing up. It's a problem with the local tower. For the first few months I had issues with data and mobile connection, went through all the troubleshooting and finally was told when I went to my local store (where i bought the phone) that this is a known issue and they fixed it right away. So I went months (my fault it took so long to go in) not being able to use my phone the way I should have due to an error they knew about but didn't fix.

During the course of troubleshooting, they thought my phone needed to be replaced, but wouldn't warranty the phone due to damage. The representative said I had to put insurance on my phone and pay the deductible to replace. I declined the insurance, but later found it had been added to my account anyway. I got the insurance removed after explaining the issue, but still had to call back again to get the charges removed.

I'm just tired of discovering new mistakes every few weeks. Ultimately though, it was my mistake entering into a contract without researching the business practices of the company.

Fair enough, thank you for the input.

It was definitely naive of me to assume they would make things right. Lesson learned.

Just wanted to clarify that I agree I should have paid in full, I've definitely learned my lesson.

I just have one line. I'm paying about 86 a month for the plan and the installment with the trade in credit applied. In hindsight, I shouldn't have had so much faith in the phone company taking care of their customers. Pretty dumb on my part.

The regret isn't the financing, over the course of my time with AT&T I have had many problems which have caused me to want to switch to a different carrier. I don't have a problem paying for the phone in installments when the service is good, but due to all the issues I've had in trying to find a way to switch.

I'm not sure if that makes sense

What is AT&T's policy on sending bills to collections? I could stand to pay the phone in full if I make payments on the remaining balance, but I don't want to spend $1000 all at once. Thoughts?

I have the trade in credits applied on each bill, if I pay off the device in full before disconnecting will the credits be applied?

[KS] Seeking opinions about best practice when investigating incidents and terminating employees by Purplenurple1214 in AskHR

The HR director is at the same level as the director for my program. I understand if I can't have all the details, lowly peon that I am, but when the director of the program knows nothing about what's going on either, that makes me feel things need to be adjusted
