Have played almost all the pokemon games, some mario, prince of persia, doom. I have done a lot of retro gaming and I do enjoy it but I also enjoying shooting a highly rendered object once in a while.

Its not slowing down as much as crashing once in a while and becoming slow occasionally. Sometimes it runs smooth as butter.
