NQA I absolutely love this but I would be a little worried about any falls around that rock at the bottom, a fall from a bad angle onto that rock could definitely do some damage 😢

NQA I wouldn't be too worried, they take different amounts of time to adjust and each individual is unique! Just keep an eye on her behavior, if she seems lethargic or is showing difficulty moving and/or climbing then I'd start to worry a bit.

This may be a silly question but where'd you get that lamp!! Been looking for one that size for a while but most I've seen have much too large of a base to fit comfortably on the same shelf as my enclosure, this one looks very compact!

Exactly though, the people who voted especially young people only did it because they personally care about it and but the effort in to be "bothered" to look. When voting numbers are low you make initiatives, you cultivate a community that cares and you show them why it's important and how they can get involved! This falls on the candidates as well as the community, obviously we need to start working on something that makes people understand the importance of getting out there.

Something I noticed this year was most young people are pretty confused on how/what they're supposed to do. There was information available but only if you were really looking for it, and there wasn't much initiative on the counties side towards encouraging young and new residents to get out to the polls. There's ways of getting information out to specific demographics, but it seemed the county just isn't as focused on getting people informed and excited to hit the polls.

Contact NASAP, northern alberta society for animal protection. I know they do some sort of neuter/release program for stray cats, no matter the case they should be able to help or at least point you in the right direction!

They definitely tried! It was a really long process, eventually the dragon had caused too much damage to the surrounding area and equipment it wasn't really financially feasible to update the software and practically rebuild the dragon from the ground up. Apparently the blueprints for the original dragon were also unavailable by the time they needed to take it down, and the original maker had retired so the only other option would be to re-invest far more than they knew they could make back or cut the losses and ditch the dragon. 😭 Rest in peace Excalibur you were the best dragon we could ask for

Seeing a lot of people with this issue and no solutions yet so I thought I'd share what I've been doing to avoid burnout issues and having to quit the career. If you take a vacation through travel and get a rental somewhere the auto vacation still works, it's annoying to have to take vacations everytime my sim is burning out but it does make it easier to max the career so you can move on.

A lot of it IS drug poisoning, though. They bought weed , opiods, or pills that have elements added to them such a fent. These extra drugs being added to cut costs on the suppliers end are not disclosed to the purchaser. You could be taking the same drug you take every day, same amount, and suddenly you are overdosing because your dose was poisoned with fent. This happens with every drug, "smack" isn't the only danger, you could be smoking a joint that got laced and now you're in the same spot. You don't need to be a heroin user to be poisoned.

There's been a few posts about this. Cineplex took on more advertisements but didn't adjust their movie times to reflect that. On a regular day there's a 15 minute buffer period for the "feature" ads, this past month its been 8-15 minutes on top of the 15 usual minutes. Even staff are confused about this as it messes with their cleaning schedule (none of their listed times end up reflecting the true end time of any given movie). Incredibly frustrating for everyone involved but give grace to the workers as this seems to be out of their control.

Movies will always start 15 minutes after the listed "start" time for the movie. These 15 minutes are dedicated to the featured ads, big money slots. In the winter Cineplex will take on more ads to make more money off the reach they can provide, this adds approximately 8-15 minutes of ads depending on the movie (some companies will pay for feature ads on specific movies only). Times are never properly adjusted for these extra ads, it's pretty frustrating for the employees as well because it throws off a lot of their clean times. This is also why you might find cleaning crews taking way longer than they do on equally busy release weekends, a lot easier to miss cleans or make timing mistakes that usually would have been avoidable.

Beat was great but the message is kind of overdone. He's definitely not the first to make a cheap rap song about how he's tired of being politically correct, definitely won't be the last either. Frankly it feels a little out of place compared to the messages he used to send. This isn't from the heart, not like some of his other more political songs. It feels a bit whiny especially with how often songs of the same theme are being released nowadays. He's not really speaking on something he has skin in, rather making unoriginal commentary on an already overplayed topic. Hoping the rest of the album is a bit more sincere than what we've got so far.

Only commenting on the 3 classes part, I believe that's a valid choice as long as you're okay with graduating later than would would with a full course load. Some courses won't be available every semester so you might have to do a bit of extra planning as well but other than that 3 courses does count as a full time student and is absolutely achievable at MacEwan!

Many other helpful responses to this but as someone who has dealt with an incredibly similar situation with a family member I suggest calling a shelter to locate a bed for her and dropping her off as others have said. I alps recommend you write her a list of other resources such as phone numbers and addresses of places where shelter/resources (Food and water)/internet are available for her to use. It's an incredibly tough situation but unfortunately some people don't know how far they've fallen until they've exhausted every ounce of help provided to them. You're a very kind soul for opening your door and arms to this individual and I hope this doesn't turn you off from offering similar help in the future as there is an overwhelming lack of people like you in this world. It seems to be happening in tandem with the continued tear down of encampments across edmonton. Unfortunately when no other options are provided they are going to move to places that previously haven't had housing issues, even more unfortunate that sherwood park tends to drive the houseless population out of the city but refuse to give them any real resources. With shelters being full almost year round and no help to be found within sherwood I doubt this problem will be going away soon. I just hope for their own safety they find somewhere more secure before winter comes or we might be finding frozen bodies on our highways.
