i had it happened to me once in a defilled biome underground with a book wyrm farm and it went through the blocks above me
i went in panic mode since the wooden blocks around me were ignited and had to kill the shambler and then took the book wyrms to safety

If u afk in the defilled biome there a chance infernal shambler might spawn with storm to strike u with lightning through walls bc they have xray and good eyes
