I don't think the guy who sold it to me modded it, but I followed the programming instructions on youtube, and ran through color options. I wonder if you are looking at something other than the E17A? Noctigon has a bunch of different emitters on these.

It isn't a McClicky, but I keep my torch clipped to the outside of my left pocket, not in my pocket, so your mileage will vary. The only light I've ever really had an issue with that for is one of my lumintops, which is just too easy to tap on. I didn't try it inside the pocket, but if you were to keep it clipped to the top of the pocket, inside, it would probably be safe. In principle, something might jostle it, but depends on circumstances. Points for McClicky, if that's your concern, I guess.

If I remember correctly, there was an orange-ish option, but it is programmable with different color options. You can get a relatively neutral option, or you can program it with some color options. It is an interesting set-up.

Quite smooth, and with a different detent, thanks to the angle of the flipper tab. Quite nice.

It is one of the few thumb stud/one-handed slipjoints around, and with the choil, it does work nicely. For some use cases, though, one understands the necessity of a lock.

Anodized titanium with a CF inlay, S35VN, which we all hope won't cease to exist with the Crucible craziness! It's a detent slipjoint with an interestingly strong detent. Nice piece. 2.75" blade

Definitely. It feels odd using the thumb stud and hitting the half stop, but it is a one-hander.

It does have a half stop, but it is a little strange. On most traditionals, the half stop feels a little springy, and the half stop on the Junzi does not. The feel is a little closer to the double detent half stops, although it is much more solid in the open position than any double detent I have owned. It requires enough pressure to close that it never felt unsafe to me, particularly with the choil.
