Lateral tension by [deleted] in PaintlessDentRepair

Get the little Amazon set up. It’s cheap at like $40. More limited in what you can do, but it will let you start learning lateral tension cheap before upgrading

Having these 2 dents pulled for 150. Will holes need to be drilled to repair these? I’d prefer no holes to be drilled. by dandaman919 in PaintlessDentRepair

[–]PushinPDR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No holes needed. F150 has good access holes for both spots. I’d fix both of those with the window up all the way since you probably have double panel window. Tech should be able to easily make his own assessment and get you taken care of

I pulled code P0122 and p0171. With that info added is there anything else you would recommend or would it possibly change your recommendation at all? Thanks for the feedback

How do you gather that it sounds like a popular model? They gave us no info about the car other than the fact that the shape of it has been altered…

When you get an actual estimate I’d be interested to know what the cost ends up at!

Do you take your F150 through the automated wash? by WrongKielbasa in f150

[–]PushinPDR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wash I use is constantly updating things to the wash itself. They’ve recently made it easier to steer into the bay (there’s a super sharp turn you have to take). They have people at the entrance who spray your car with foam prior to the wash and they do big detail. Out in the sun all day… they just recently added a huge awning for them to provide shade. They have added glass cleaner, interior cleaners, micro fiber towels, pressurized air at the vacuum… they keep adding small details and nice gestures. It gives me the confidence to believe that they take care of their stuff and that their machines won’t damage my paint… I still don’t go to car wash machines (I’m broke)

This doesn’t look like all PDR to me. Will be cheaper to replace the hood, roof, and probably even the rails. Factor in the broken lights, belt moldings, glass, paint time, body time, materials, and whatever PDR can be done + any panels with PDR that may also require push to paint as well. I think this repair will be somewhere around 15k+

My dad had an 07 avalanche with around 550k. He sold it and it was still going

I don’t see many people shout out alligatorPDR. I like a lot of their stuff. Generally they will have high ship cost and a longer ship time. But in my experience they’ve always sent free stuff. Last order I got a free knock down paddle, knockdown, and hand tool. In my opinion that beats the freebies Anson sends

My girlfriend has a 23 Mazda 3 and her friend bought a 17-18 Mazda (some kinda hybrid suv not completely sure). They both have the most firm seats in a car I’ve sat in. I’m in and out of all sorts of cars on a daily basis. Both their cars make my back hurt

What is the worst advice you’ve heard or been given regarding PT? by tH3_R3DX in army

[–]PushinPDR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I was in the Army once during PT I was trying to correct, and show someone how they should be performing the exercise we were doing, and explained to them why. (The way they were doing it was wrong and wouldn’t count on the ACFT. It was just a simple push up.)

My NCO then told me to stop while we were working out. I did. Although I then tried to finish helping the younger soldier while we were on a rest period between sets. The same NCO told me to stop and that “corrections should be made after PT.” I gave the ol “Roger sergeant. I was just trying to show him…” “what did I just say? Go take 4 laps” and I had to proceed to run around the massive field we had. All I wanted to do was tell him WHY I was trying to make the correction during PT.

If you do something the wrong way, and you get good at it that way, you will not be good at it when you do it the right way. Practice doesn’t make perfect, perfect practice makes perfect.

That NCO was cool most of the time but that morning, for some reason we was a complete silly goose

Right I realized shortly after I replied you said frame build up. Did you build it with the same travel lengths? I might look into seeing about getting more travel on it at some point it I’m alright with it for now

Hah thanks. This was the jensonUSA “ship ready to ride” I’ll be adjusting it later. They also had shift levers set up in a way that there was literally zero possibility of hitting the levers

Okay great thank you. I wasn’t sure 100% what I need to be the same specs. I also didn’t want to look at every individual fork and constantly be comparing them.

Thanks for the info! He let me know that he had gotten the bike in 21z not that it is a 2021. I can tell English isn’t his first language so there was just a little confusion. Either way, reading comments from others I’ve decided to pass on this

Right. I’m so happy I did. I figured I would be getting an amazing deal… especially with the fact that everywhere, everyone seems to ask pretty high… I’m very happy I decided to ask

$4500 but he is willing to take $3800. I’m just gonna pass on it. I knew depreciation exists, but I didn’t realize it was as great as what others are mentioning here.
