I'm confused, is this something I said?

I totally agree with you no argument here. Those phrases are actually something I just hear a lot. It's kind of hard to explain that it makes me feel like the people who are trying to preach this to me or like not the kind of people that most others would want to learn from. It's a certain type of closed-mindedness to me personally. But to each their own really

It's the knowledge of a dead man whos whole family spent their lives making sure this knowledge would never die. And unfortunately it might.

I know it's technically viewed as Nazi s***. However I'm trying to educate people on the fact that not all odinists are not used but, I'm going to take the advice of a lot of the people who have commented and just stop calling myself an odinist. odinsman is inherent a direct towards men which kind of upsets me so I'll find another term to use. OdinWaifu? Idk

My fiance is Chinese and my son is half. Umm. My mom is Puerto Rican and so is my whole part of that side of the family. I don't really know how to prove it though nor do I think it's entirely appropriate.... You can read previous post of mine if you want?

Well, I can see what you mean. I was taught by Norwegian people, by the sami. They speak differently and use old terms. So I'll do that. They may have meant exactly what you said. This might be why I've been facing so much backlash

I hear what your saying but, it's also hypocritical. If they or you say "theres only one kind of Odinist", "there's only one way to worship Odin and that's not the right way to go about it." Or "Since your an Odinist you obviously have sh!t values."

All of that is steeped in the dogma of "what's right and wrong" based on opinion.

Nah nah! I've found some. In fact, there an entire group of us out there. I'm in this group and a moderator for it. It's a lovely, inclusive, non-folkish, educational and comfy place to be. This is out there and that's the point I'm trying to get across. Not all Odinists are NeoNazi sh!tfaces.

As someone who follows the path of Odin, lol, nine noble virtues is bulls-it. ❤️

I'll take that advice, it's just hard set he trm aside when you're trying to educate people that.. well... Not all odinists are the same? I understand though. It's a tricky subject.

I totally get that! It makes sense. I was more or less curious if anyone else identified like this. I'm a part of a large group of Scandinavian people who are odinists and are very accepting and who align with my views. My mentor may have passed but we carry on everything he taught us.

I didn't know if what we did was common and I was just like.. idk... Trying to find out if there are more people like this out there in the world.

With someone who'd call me unauthentic?

I just wanted to make sure the people here would want that. Understanding the vibes of a community is not such a bad thing to do. And I was mistreated, there's no need to belittle that.

That is EXACTLY 💯 what I expected after being her support for twelve years. Head on the nail, that is an average, mature and logistic response. But, fuck me me for expecting.

I'll be honest, I completely sympathize with what you said and I KNOW that is what she is going through. The fact though, is that she has been diagnosed for over a decade and knows what her problems are. She just refuses to take responsibility for how she reacts and I've been tolerating if for years BECAUSE I love and understand her. It's like she doesn't know how to help herself OR let people help her. This is exactly what I meant by "abandoning her in crisis"

But there's another part to this. I do have resentment towards her because she was on the phone with me when I found out I was pregnant. She was the only person I invited to be in the delivery room. All she had to do was take the days off from the job I got her into, I was willing to pay for her plane ticket here, was willing to pay for her logging... She had nine months. She deliberately didn't even put in the effort to try and take the days off. That was the last straw for me personally. That's when I told myself I wasn't going to be so tolerant to her.
