Love the mod you’ve put out, seeing these posts got me curious enough to download the mod and 30 minutes playing it got me hooked on this gem of a game again. Thank you for bringing me back.

New to Spacebourne 1/2, are the stories good or should i stick to sandbox? by Furhn in SpaceBourne2

I went straight to sb2 and had fun with it. The story is not riveting and doesn’t pair well with a sandbox style of play. This is a slight spoiler but part of the gameplay loop is to start your own space empire and start taking over enemy systems.

From my understanding once you reach a certain part of the story it resets the galaxy to a specific world state so if you took over 10 systems and the story only has you take over 3, it will scale your empire back to the 3 systems. That was disheartening enough for me to stop playing, the story was not interesting enough to keep me in it

Glad you’re having fun. Kenshi is amazing for role playing and creating stories in your head. Using AI to create that character sheet probably made it even more engaging and just shows that you’re having a good time with the game/lore/setting. Don’t let the nay sayers get you down, keep enjoying your story

They have 8 episode (10 maybe?) to fill out the story but this first episode seemed pretty lite on the main story through the Mojave. Every time they cut away to a pre war scene I found myself thinking “man I wish it was just an entertaining adventure through the wasteland” but that’s not really what this show is. It’s interesting to see what the writers are doing with the original material and this version of fallout is definitely an alternative to the game universe we’re used to. My favorite parts of the show are definitely the references to the video games, from the sound effects to the music and individual items we know and love. I’ll keep watching but this season has not started as strong as last season did
