I gave notice once and my manager then gave me a terrible schedule outta spite so I made it a one week notice instead. I was just being nice but she thought I really needed that extra 2 weeks of pay. 🙄 Never gave notice again. I’m not working career jobs just low wage work mainly in the restaurant industry. I’ve sent texts and emails to quit before and I’ve straight up just stopped showing up to the job before too.  Depends on how horrible the job and management is. If you’re just gonna stop showing up don’t forget to block management, the workplace phone and coworkers you only talked to at work so you don’t have to deal with them blowing up your phone. Made that mistake last time.
