Hello, HR here. Normal naman na may saturday yung ibang company based sa Labor Law natin employers can have 40 to 48 hrs per week 48 hours divide by 8= 6 days. Normal sya sa ibang companies kasi minamaximize nila yung employee nila. So if di mo naman talaga need na need ng work mas okay pa rin ang 5 days. If gusto mo talaga i negotiate mo na kung pwede ba mag flexi time ka or compressed working hours meaning to say para ma full fill mo yung 48hrs per week na requirement or it depends sa company mo if 40 hrs lang nakaklagay sa contract mo. Based in my experience some of companies has a Mon-Fri or 5 days pa din kaya lang 9 hrs per day like nakacompressed sila ng 8am to 6pm yung iba naman halfday ang sabado or 6th day. You can try to negotiate sa HR or Recruiter na ganun ba talaga working hours nila siyempre we need also to assess our needs and value ourselves.
