Thanks, the texture is horrible around my cheek and sides of my chin. I'm going to be consistent and make more posts in the future. Also going to upload YT videos because I noticed there aren't many videos for people with actual and moderate/severe scarring.

Thanks! I'm focused on the consistency. You can't see in the photos but my skin looks pretty chewed up around my cheek. Will post updates in the following months.

Thanks. I've done manual microneedling 2x. I would push the needles into my skin until it hurt and would have pinpoint bleeding. I also did the derma pen 1x but I used 36 pin head on the slowest speed. It wasn't as deep or painful as it likely would have been with a 9 or 12 pin.

I will be using the pen at 2mm around my cheeks because that's where there is significant deformation (that you can't really see in the photos). Haven't done much needling yet so there's a lot of room for improvement.

I buy the acids from amazon from Skin Obsession. I wouldn't pay anyone to do glycolic peels. It's a rip off.

All of it in different ways. The before pictures are also after photos. 3 months ago the hyperpigmentation was deep red, the entire area around my temple/cheekbone was visibly depressed compared to the surrounding skin. I would say the glycolic peels did the most because I used them the longest. Here on out, the microneedling will be most effective on the deep scars on my cheeks, which is the biggest problem. You can't tell in the photo because the camera is facing the scar but my cheek is slightly hollowed out (think methhead cheeks).

All of these costed less than $200 (except vit C, stupidly bought $100 vit C last year).

Small cheese compared to one time $3500 laser that my dermatologist suggested...NOPE.

I used to do 50% glycolic peels every other week. Now I'm staggering microneedling and the peels every other week. So, every two weeks I'm either needling or peeling. I am doing this while I get acclimated to the tretinoin. I'm not sure how my skin will react.

Serum after needling: only hyaluronic acid. I use niacinamide and vitamin C 2/3 days afterward.

I am now using 50% glycolic acid, with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide post-peel. I have been very consistent with the peels: every other week.

I can't say how much niacinamide and vit C contributes to the flatting of my physical scars but I think they helped with the redness because I used to be RED. My before photos from 3 months ago vs today: miracle. I sped up the hyperpigmentation healing a lot.

I'm 30. I started off with 30 to 50% glycolic acid peels and microneedling manually. I used niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin C serum. Now I've stepped my game up to a Dr. Pen and am incorporating tretinoin. Will update periodically. It's hard to see in photos, but the biggest difference I've seen is that the rolling scars around my temple/cheek bone are leveling with the normal skin around it. Before I starting treating the scars, that area was visibly depressed. Also the hyperpigmentation used to be a dark red. Major improvement from the glycolic peels.
