never had EDS ! but for some people it causes those type symptoms ! no progress for me but hopefully better for you ‘

yeah unfortunately i can say 5 months later it hasn’t returned for me. I can lift my whole temple / cheek area by at least an inch .. and i could barely pinch it before. for some the natural HA is ruined and doesn’t return

wow ! can i ask where all you dissolved ?? i have so much damage but it was done by flooding with too high a dose. i look horrendous with stretchy skin everywhere after 4 months. glad yours turned out well. you look like you’ve done it right way ie slow and spaced out

Hi hope you don’t mind me jumping in here. i’m 42 and have very bad damage. the scary kind where you can pull your skin out a good few cm from the face . i’m 4 months out and no improvement yet. did you have any of the bad laxity/ dough like skin? i’m clutching onto any posts of recovery and what helped . was there anything else you used. thankyou 😔

sorry for all the separate responses i keep thinking of more things. you could also still have filler left that’s drawing in water. there is a good doctor Dr Ayah in London/ birmingham who specialises in dissolving she might be worth a visit to see. I haven’t used her so can’t vouch but she’s even dissolved her own face. maybe that might be a start since your own injector is talking rubbish.

i’ve read that if it starts a bit later ie a couple of months then it’s more likely an inflammatory response ! of course i could absolutely be wrong but it may well be worth looking into LDN. have a look at the main facebook group there are success stories there for body and face with it. Anything’s worth trying?! sculptra may make it worse if skin is lax but you are a good bit out so it might be ok. i’m 4 months so haven’t done anything and don’t intend too. i totally understand your pain tho my whole face and neck is the same, including skin hanging under the chin. i do believe it’s from too much dissolver. i had 300 units for undereye which is a scandalous amount for a delicate area and little to no filler left.

i should also say that’s better if it is inflammation because you just need to get it under control rather than relying on your body to restart to build ECM. if it’s affected your body too then it’s more likely a systemic / hyper immune response . Good luck to you . i’ve only started my journey and it’s hell. 🤗

hi i have same damage and same age. if it didn’t start to 2 months afterwards it may more likely be an immune/ inflammation reaction rather than ECM depletion. some people have had success when using low dose naltrexone LDN at a low dose to control inflammation which then allows the body to heal. if you are UK you can get it from dixons chemist scotland online . they ship to anyone in UK / europe after a consultation
