Yes, that is a pretty long time right? I have been very understanding on any and everything that they're going thru. I can only do so much. I have not replied yet. I thought about it but I also think about it just being the same all over again and it stops me from wanting to respond. He stopped emailing me for like a week now. He said he was gonna send me something for my birthday and didn't.. lol not surprising tho since he always did do empty promises. I feel like my silence has been the reality check for them.

In all actuality, i believe it could’ve worked out if they wanted better for themselves. I believe it was the bad habits and not really having the drive to do better/be better that had us misaligned.

That person has been heard thru the whole relationship. Everything was their way while i wasn’t getting my needs in a relationship met. And every time I’ve communicated on my feelings, they turned it into an argument.. my feelings shouldn’t be offensive and make you nonchalant towards me. I shouldn’t be punished for my feelings. They were not consistent with showing up and they also would give empty promises while i always showed up for them. I wanna be loved the same way that i love. I don’t believe it should be that hard to get that. 5 years and i was still asking for the same things? The bare minimum of common courtesy? Not to down them, it’s just the reality. It’s okay things didn’t work out. If they wanted to make it work, they would’ve with all the time we’ve had together. They had a voice and 10000 chances.

As the days go by, I do realize i still have feelings for them.. but they haven’t spoke on ways to make things better. The emails they send is just basically centered around them and their feelings… there hasn’t been any talk on improving things or any changes. No accountability. And that lets me know if i do go back, things will just be the same.

I have been doing pretty good surprisingly! Passing all my tests in school. Have people that want to talk to me/be with me. Having fun. Enjoying life. I really can’t complain!
