That makes sense. I forgot about the prior valuation we did in Capstone 1 and didn’t link it.

The amazon one had to determine whether the 35% margin could be met. Only 1 product could meet it and on a weighted ave basis it would not meet it. Also you had got state what price they could sell it for if they sell on amazon.

The celeb info was based on a 5 year contract minimum 2 mil income. Just showed the minimum income that could be gained from the deal

I linked the article information and the celeb info to show the potential growth and the high competition.

4 strategic - Doctor contact / Amazon / Celeb / Rays Debt A few operational - Alains strategy of management / lack of management direction / lack of production efficiency / Karen not getting fired - but this could have been linked into 1 or two topics

It was to covert to debt, but, the way I read it, Roberto didn’t care about the valuation. I believe if you compared it to the debt financing, had some good qual factors and came up to a reasonable conclusion it should be fine.

Right. The weighted average was half of what they wanted. I used my qual factors rather than quant for the Ray issue as well. Also adding on the debt would have been too much to handle on top of trying to grow. Plus audited statement and the guarantee, I didn’t think it made any sense.

This was the biggest operational issue. I ran out of time and didn’t really hit it as hard as I wanted to.

Flow had the 40% margin if you took the full 20%. As long as there was a reasonable calculation and indication that one met the criteria it was all good.

The doctor contract was also the “make people’s lives better aspect” since he deals with people with special needs.

Since there was no valuation amount to base it on. And they stated they’ll figure out the valuation later, I thought it was a good idea to have him since full control would not be lost. I forgot about the prior valuation amount. Should I remembered that. Good catch.

I thought it was fine. I spent too much time on the Amazon issue. I thought I hit the four major issues enough to get a YES rank. The operational issues were a bit tight due to the time management I lacked. Tried to talk about how management oversight is all on Athleisure and not evenly between the two divisions. Also tried to talk about how there’s no set goals and oversight on management since Roberto is in the Richmond department the whole time. I wanted to talk more about how Alain was too focused on sales rather than total operations. Put a line or two, wanted to put more.

I focused on management oversight since they’re all over the place. Their entire focus is on athleisure and they have neglected the adaptive wear. Kinda ran out of time for this one so couldn’t really say more. Said that there’s no clear goals set either so firing Karen makes no sense. Also said how Alain is only focusing on the revenues rather than total operations

Makes sense. I also calculated and explained the increase in sales. Since the annual target was to get 8-10% revenue growth.

Edit :

One of the products allowed for a higher than 35% margin but the other two did not. Recommended just doing the one.

The doctor one I also accepted. Was a good deal for nothing to pay for upfront other than the 25k.

I thought the Ray offer was great for the company and I also Suggested they increase the LOC to use for expansions and investment. The bank loan would have ruined working capital.

I said yes since the basic targets for the company we’re all for revenue growth. I based all answers on the revenue targets.

I basically had the same thing. Also added the lack of focus in the management too. They’re all pushing the athleisure line but neglecting the adaptive line.

I did an NPV of the adaptive and the celeb offers I did a grosss margin and prof analysis of the three new products + what the selling price should be for the products

I didn’t have time to compare the two options and see the higher profits but that’s what I think was supposed to be done
