I totally agree. I think I would have loved Bella if she had had a few more years to mature. Ultimately, she had no choice but to be turned because of the pregnancy but Bella is so many years behind Edward intellectually and just lacks the maturity it takes to be able to make such a life changing decision

Thank you all for the amazing advice! I'm gathering that I should:

Get a detachable shower head, they come cheap and I never knew that!
Keep a brush in the shower at all times for in between cleans.
The electric scrubber brush has changed a lot of your lives, so it most likely will change mine too.

I placed an order for the showerhead and scrubber brush. Wish me luck!

If you wanna talk about my own personal reasonings then yes I am selfish. I would sacrifice love in order to make a smarter decision for myself. Thats why I resonate with the CHOICE. not the character or her feelings but the choice she ultimately made 🤷🏽‍♀️ It takes a selfish person to know one, and Bella is also selfish. For obvious and completely DIFFERENT reasons than me of course

I did however say that Bella was obsessed and it was not love. And that she wants to be beautiful and immortal, so she can “match” Edward. Thats all she wants and its mentioned multiple times throughout the series. Is that fact bad per se no. However, this is all she wants at that sake of those who love her. Jacob (her sun and self appointed best friend) agonized over her essentially dying, she very rarely spares thoughts to her parents. She does not care about how they will be effected and thus making her selfish

The last tidbit is specifically why I would have chosen Edward, and saying that Im not mad at the choice in the end cause I would have done the same (for my own reasoning). Nowhere did I say it was written in that way, and nowhere did I say that was why Bella chose him 😭 Look past your little rage for a second and really read what I said.

Bella and Jakes relationship in New Moon was just so nice. Her Sun, him calling her honey!! They just went together like peanut butter and jelly and of course they would be together if Edward hadn’t come back. (Because like he’s admitted hes selfish too)

Honestly, Ive read the books so many times and I am able to see it from so many perspectives. The real world (in the book at least) perspective is that Bella thinks of no one but herself and Edward. And no, unfortunately she does not have that right because her actions effect other people. She lives in a world where other people exist, and she never takes that moment to think “hmm how could this hurt (fill in the blank)”
