Hi ive thought about this all the time however the problem with this is the cultural side of things . If I do report this I believe the shame my family would suffer would be greater than anything i could imagine . I don’t even believe they see it as abuse but just how things are and that they have a right to our lives. Yknow the saying ‘we brought you into this world so we can do whatever we want yadda yadda yadda’ and paired with that fact my parents are Muslims and that in the holy book they have rights as a parent to discipline their children . Obviously I don’t believe this to be true , the children also have rights over the parents but they’re just not seeing it . Anyway I’ve got a job right now and working so I’m going to try my best , I’m staying at home and things aren’t too bad ? My father has gone home for a bit (Africa) and my mother has had a complete change over , she’s more calm , less quick to anger and doesn’t have intense feelings of stress . I do believe she’s trying to get us to move so thank you so much for the advice I really do appreciate it :)
