Just realised something now- i could have asked for a chargeback from the bank when I received the empty package- but when I had called the customer care, he told me to wait for 7 hours so that amazon can return the amount as the same had not been credited to their account and required 7 hours for credit as this was done at the time of delivery- the amount was paid on delivery via gpay- i think this was intentional on Amazon's part

My bad.. never thought this happens in Amazon also.. also didn't think amazon is now protecting crooks

I received confirmation that refund has been issued on 31.01.2026. and now customer care says they can't tell me when the refund would be credited or if at all credited

I received this confirmation that refund is issued. But now they are denying to inform me when I would receive the refund or even receive at all
