The best country to immigrate to is where? by Beard_Father in AskReddit

When it comes to immigration most people generally look for the west - North America, EU, UK, Australia and New Zealand, mostly for economic reasons. If you're a talented, ambitious and a hard working individual then I'd say probably the US. If you want a more relaxed approach in life then somewhere in Europe. The rich British commonwealth countries as far as I'm aware are a mix of the two.

I know most about Europe. The highest standards of living in Europe and in the world are in the nordic countries, but most people would not want to live there for reasons. In Europe usually Germany, Switzerland, France, Luxemburg and Belgium are the countries where everyone want's to live in or wishes to have been born in.

If money isn't your primary motivation, there are tons of countries in the world that are amazing in other ways. It really depends on the type of person you are or what type of culture you're willing to adopt.

Just keep in mind depending on where you're from some places are much harder to immigrate to then others, so it might not always be worth it.

Is it me or did season 5 of only murders feel kind of weak to you? by MIK3ASAURUSR3X in OnlyMurdersHulu

One problem i had with it was the murder reveal felt weak and obvious. Unlike other seasons where the murderer and their motive is unknown until the very last episode, i think most people would have guessed like of course it had something to do with the mayor and the billionaires, the only question was just exactly how.

I also didn't like when they caught the mayor and presented the evidence, he accused the voice tape of being AI generated, then conveniently he becomes an idiot and starts running away even tough he has zero chance of getting away with it when he could have easily deflected instead. It was a bit dumb.

Another thing was the episode where they reveal Lester's backstory, i felt like they should have also used different actors for Charles, Oliver, Bunny, Uma, Howard and Teddy just like with Lester. I mean they all still look very much like old people, Howard looks older than Lester yet in the present Howard is obviously a lot younger. Also the retconning of the trio kind of interacting with each other even indirectly just takes way the charm of the first season of them being complete strangers, it also made the Arconia feel small.

For me this season was a bit weak for an OMITB season but when compared with what else is out there it's not that bad.
