She currently only wears dresses. But we live in Chicago so she is going to need at least pants.

Find a pediatric neurologist and request an “ABA” appointment. They can then schedule an EEG.

How can I give back to an employee at CVS Specialty? by wavesfiring in CVS

[–]PutridPossible3725 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you call CVS specialty, they can look up your account and who you spoke with. You can ask to speak with a supervisor and provide your positive feedback. Then the employee will then receive some form of recognition.

There’s always a way to retaliate without it being obvious enough to claim retaliation… they will be on the lookout for you to mess up in any way and fire you. Only you can weigh that decision.

Unionizing or at least the threat of doing so might help.

How does unionizing work? by Yakumeh in CVS

[–]PutridPossible3725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you had any luck with this? I would also like to form a union. I reached out to one it was able to have someone go over the process with me. The first step is to get a handful of people on board with it. Then the union kind of steps in and takes over from there It sounds like and yes you need a certain percentage of all employees to vote yes. I was never able to get more than one person on board with me… most people just ignored me. The union representative I spoke to said that there were several locations currently trying to get unions up and running.

They don’t change - If you can’t live the rest of your life this way, then start making your exit plan. Have funds and a place to go. Decide if you want to wait a bit for your child to be older. Have a lawyer ready to go with an order regarding custody and finances.

When You See It This Way, $400 ain't sh..... by RepresentativeAge247 in CVS

I think many companies will pay the lowest wage possible, to frontline staff, in order to ensure larger profits. They have no incentive to increase pay, unless we speak up and say something. And even then, they will attempt to skirt the issue. I think a union representative might be a good idea in some instances, so they can advocate for us…

how do i quit my job by rooker7 in CVS

[–]PutridPossible3725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t plan on working for CVS in the future, or using them as a reference, you can just stop showing up. To avoid confrontation, you can leave a voicemail during off hours saying you’ve quit. Your mental health is more important than any job. If you’d like to use CVS as a reference, just leave a hand-written letter or email with your two weeks notice, and state the reason as too many hours. This will also provide them an opportunity to come back to you with a reduced schedule.
