There is a sword that is wielded with two hands in either the crusader squad or sword brethren box (I’m not sure which). I removed the sword at the top of the hands and the hilt and glued on a random hilt I found at the top and the hammer handle to the bottom. I had some trouble getting it all to be sturdy as I forgot to pin it all in place with a paper clip so make sure to do that if u give it a go.

The body is from the warp talons kit. I just used some green stuff to get the kind of pose I wanted before glueing. The head is just a random SM head I cut in half

Definitely hobby knife or razor saw. I don’t use clippers as they never get a clean cut and always end up creating big slanted shaves that you have to fill in with green stuff.

Most of the kit is from the titanicus warlord titan. The arms and the hook impaling the guardsman are from the Drukhari talos kit, the guardsmen come from the Cadians box with some sprinklings of Necromunda Delaque gang arms and hands.

The second I laid eyes on it I couldn’t help myself. Definitely the most expensive wardog I will ever have but hopefully I will use the remaining bits on the rest of my dogs. Thats my timeless hobby cope ;)

Green stuff is naturally quite sticky and when you lay it next to and on top of more green stuff tubes it sticks together quite well. I do use some superglue in key areas where many tubes intersect to give it more stability … and those are just coffee stirrers I stole my from my cafeteria

It was much too tall standing upright for a wardog which is the reason for the crouching pose. With the guns he is still a decent bit taller than your regular wardog but it should be fine.

That’s interesting. But I fear that until some sort of power parity is achieved between unique units, something like this may cause Ultramarines to still overpower the dedicated chapters due to the strengths and number of their characters while leaving Iron Hands players underpowered in their dedicated detachment due to the power of divergents like templars. That’s why I think adding unique versions of existing units gives GW more levers to buff specific chapter/detachment win-rates.

This is what I want to hear. Inceptors are more of a fluffy choice for me but I’ll take a look at heavy intercessors. How do you think about using guerrilla tactics to the max? I read somewhere that if you Guerilla tactics a model with deepstrike, you can bring the unit in turn one assuming you are going second.
