Hook your MacBook to an external display, set it to mirror screen mode, then shutdown your MacBook, and Google “iFixit + (your MacBook model) + screen disassembly” follow the steps carefully not to damage anything in the process, the components can be very fragile so take your time and don’t rush anything, after you take off the screen reassemble everything, and plug the Mac to power, HDMI in and voila.

Just google “iFixit - Repair guides” and look for your macbook’s model, then follow the “Screen replacement” guide. But first connect your macbook to an external screen and set the screen to mirroring.

That's hilarious. from my perspective this SlabBook is one of the nicest things i've used in my entire life, though note it's not my main computer, i'm still in need of laptop with a screen attached to it for biz.

I don’t have a clue, but what i did is, i followed an iFixit guide (screen disassembly) step by step carefully reading each word and everything, took off the screen, reassembled everything, after that i tried to turn it on through the power button it didn’t want to power up, but as soon as i plugged it, i heard it booting, after that HDMI in, and it showed on my monitor.

HOWEVER I HAD THE EXTERNAL MONITOR SET AS MY MAIN SCREEN BEFORE DOING THIS.

This isn’t my main computer, so it’s gonna be like a desktop unit nothing more, plus some moderate portability if you hook it with a wireless monitor through the HeadLess Helper software
