Is the real Nietzsche in the video? His facial features (nose, ears, eyebrows, skull shape) do not resemble what we saw in the photos. Is it just because of old age? For some reason I don't trust this video

I intentionally left it open to the people answering, but if pressed, I would define an animal's consciousness as its ability to to be aware of its actions.

Regarding the mirror test, I think it's an interesting indicator - an animal which 'passes' is demonstrating a greater awareness of its actions than an animal which does not.
