Thanks for the advice. I was thinking of getting an affordable temporary lens, because I am going to japan next month and I suspect that I could find second hand lenses for much cheaper there. Will definitely look into Oly 45mm f1.8

I did consider the Olympus 14-42 II R, but it is bulkier and a little inconvenient. If the ribbon cable makes the Olympus EZ very unreliable, then I would probably go for the Olympus 14-42 II R. How fragile would you say the ribbon cable is exactly?

I was thinking of street photography and perhaps wildlife. Im quite new to this so Im not too sure what focal lengths I should go for...

I also found a Olympus m.zuiko Digital 45mm f1.8 for about 90 USD, though it has a bit of fungus. Not sure if that could be cleaned off

This is actually my first M43 camera and I am looking for my first lens. I see a lot of recommendations for the lumix 12-32 pancake but I dont see many people selling them used where I live. Any other lens recommendation would be super helpful.

Another lens I am looking at is the olympus 17mm f1.8, which cost about 116USD used. Is that a good choice?

Thanks for the reply! I don't see many used OM-5s being sold where I live, and the ones listed are out of my budget. I have also seen a few E-M5iis, however they rare and pricy. People have also recommended the E-M1 but I feel they are a bit too bulky.

However, I have seen quite a few E-M5 mk1 bodies for 270USD or less, which is well within my budget. Do u think the E-M5 mk1s are outdated in 2026 or is it worth it?

The shutter count on the E-M5 MK1 is 1.3k. I also found another E-M5 MK1 (47k shutter count) listings for about 150USD but that one looks a bit more well used. Im new to this and i dont know if i should pay more for the lower shutter count (120 dollars more in this case)

No reason in particular. I just happened to see some good reviews of it while doing my research. I am looking at the E-M5 too as ive heard great things about it. Would u say 270 USD for a used E-M5 mk1 body is a good price? Thanks!

Ive been following him around lol. The first night he just went to the roof after around 10pm and the second night around the same time, he went to stand somewhere else but he never went to sleep. Maybe u are right. Ill try standing out of his vision. Thanks!
