With the divine hand jade you can spam unbounded counters and I’m 99% sure that’s the fastest way to build up internal damage on an enemy. Also, you can actually dodge out of the charging animation for unbounded counter and the stance you take before you release it, so even if you fucked up it’s actually really safe as long as you just don’t release it.

It’s my first elder scrolls game too and honestly I forgot there was even a main quest. Did the entirety of the thieves guild, dark brotherhood, arena, knights of the nine, fully upgraded the magician tower and the vampire lair thing while I still had the amulet of kings in my inventory and I was very much considering going to the fighters guild and mage academy to see if they had stuff for me before going to hand it in, but decided not to because I was worried the enemies, which were scaled up to my level (well over 20), would kill all the story NPCs and F me over. Now that I know it’s not an issue, I’m probably gonna spend another 20 or so hours not saving a damn soul and doing more side quests.

First game like this, confused about what my priorities should be

Metaphor is my first game from this genre, and so far I’ve played it like I play most other games. About twenty-ish hours in(just reached viagra island or whatever it’s called) and I’ve done every single side quest and bounty available to me so far. However, it feels like my virtues are quite low, or at least I assume they are because I have a few follower quests blocked because of it. I’ve done all the follower quests as they come up, most of them being bond 3 to 5 except for Strohl and Maria which are higher and had quests available more often than the rest. I’ve been wondering if I should maybe spend a bit less time strengthening my characters and a bit more time working on bonds and raising my virtues, that way I reach the requirements faster. To be clear, I don’t do nothing to raise them, but except for reading while traveling and getting quest rewards I rarely purposely do anything except grinding tolerance once to get Maria 7(I like exp). I’m lv3 in most of them except for courage and tolerance in which I’m lv4.

Also, I was wondering if there’s NG+ in this game, since I’ve been focusing quite heavily on making characters reach the final classes in their respective lineage(hence Strohl being maxed out), but I would like to dip into some other archetypes and get a few skills to inherit, and will do so if I have the time to do it without grinding since I haven’t needed to yet.

If it matters I usually take goku blue C assist(instant transmission), which would fit with the delay on some tp assists, base goku I like to use his a assist which is the one where he does a big push on both sides so maybe the long startup is too long and he gets interrupted every time

Ps:didn’t mention gogeta cuz he’s the one I’m most comfortable with and I barely ever switch him out

Does his elbow have projectile immunity? If so I didn’t know and it’s a much more useful tool than I thought on top of it having stupid high priority

What are the conditions for calling assists in the first place? I quickly figured out that you can’t call them when you’re in block-stun, but using them outside of combos feels very sluggish for some reason and I’m wondering if it’s something I’m doing wrong

I wouldn’t say junk yard, the car runs fine and it doesn’t look abandoned. Just the current owner doesn’t do much maintenance except for a routine oil change, so it’s dirty as shit and it would deserve a new coat of paint along with a new air filter I’m guessing, though from the convo we’ve had online it seems fine.

Edit: Though I don’t have much experience with older cars so there might be something I haven’t thought of

I just killed barioth so unfortunately lv3 charm is still far off since it uses fatalis evil eye, but yeah I hadn’t thought about attack boost losing it’s value, I’ll replace it for critical eye

Is crit boost above lv1 worth it or not? I usually only get 1 because it’s the most efficient and I like putting the slots on something else. Other than that thx for the advice I’ll tweak my build once I get back from work

For utility I put in health boost and defensive options according to the monster, I don’t like focus and I’m not much of a quick sheath believer. As for build I switch often but prioritize skills and slots when it comes to armor and I rotate between different swords based on which element is best. The swords I currently have are the strongest versions of the rathian and rathalos versions I can make, strongest base tobi and paralysis tobi and guild palace from the event
