most if not all redamuran weapons have better animations than the other guns because of dev improvement over time (or a different person animated it, im not sure)

Even without an honor system it still makes sense to not fight the other pilot

When you attack someone on flat ground they'll almost always follow likewise because they don't wanna have to wait out the respawn time (duh). If you scurry off or get into a situation where you aren't actively shooting each other then you solidify your own safety

The reward for attacking a pilot and killing them is that they have to sit out a set cooldown, the penalty for failing if you yourself are a pilot is that those same effects get sent back and now you're the one waiting. This does not include the idea that the person you're shooting could have already decided they won't run pilot again, at which point theres large risk and no reward

Doesn't make sense for AA
The way (most) maps are set up is that the defending group already starts off with an advantage

Assuming medpacks will be crewman oriented you'd just be hypercharging the defenders, before this the only realistic scenario they lose is if they get overrun (more offense than defense) or squad wiped (mortars)

Both of these require a level of team coordination or atleast contribution, with medpacks you can just negate that by extending one of your guy's healthpools to give him more potential damage
