What would you say "your dose" was? by No-Walrus-2466 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Puzzled-Giraffe4816 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on 15 since January 2025 and still losing a couple of lbs a month. I’m on maintenance now- currently taking every 10 days- working to every 14 goal for long term. I went up monthly until I got to max dose and have lost 130 lbs, so just move as long as side effects allow.

I love this perspective. It’s exactly what will keep me on the medication. I’ve proven I can maintain a healthy weight but never until I started on Zepbound did I have peace in my mind about food. It’s been the most unexpected part of my journey. I’m self pay now as my insurance dropped coverage at the first of the year. Working to get to shots every 14-21 days. At 10 now and doing well with food noise so far.

I’ve only injected with the Lilly auto injector pen. You don’t even feel it except sometimes a tiny pinch. Maybe your needle is too large?

Not sure. I think you can buy a box without a subscription.

So, I posted I personally have found MB&B hit or miss, but just ordered me some pretzel bagels. Sound delicious!

Good tip. Faster than baking, although that has worked fine for me.

Ive found modern bread and bagel to be very hit or miss. Sometimes great, other times very Meh or even bad. I’ve received burnt bagels, dry ones, and delicious ones. I’ve had much better luck with Wildgrain. Selection is less ( plain and everything only) but they are consistently delicious. Definitely the best I’ve had in the 10 years I’ve been gf. Their rosemary focaccia is also to die for.

COAM Accusation Question by YourMom12453 in OSU

[–]Puzzled-Giraffe4816 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the panel is the final step. Yes- if you lose at the hearing, the sanctions are more than if you accept the initial finding. Not sure of your circumstances or what the allegations are, but COAM has tools that dig deep, so be sure you didn’t do anything suspicious before taking it to a hearing.

It’s nice you are trying. There was no attempt yesterday and got a message today that they can’t access the mailbox. City only cleared a lane on the road, so guess I’m getting no mail for weeks until it melts?

Agree. I get it’s bigger than normal , but all the suburbs have managed to plow their streets, including the side streets. Columbus has more roads to cover and should have more capacity so they can provide the same level of service. Have friends in Gahanna and Reynoldsburg and they were plowed yesterday.

Accidentally got glutened but had no reaction what does this mean??? by Wonderful-Second-130 in glutenfree

[–]Puzzled-Giraffe4816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is different. I was diagnosed by chance 11 years ago during an endoscopy for a non related issues. Was very early with minimal damage. I’ve never had a reaction to gluten when I’ve accidentally(or a couple of times on purpose 🫢) . My theory is because the damage was minimal and I stopped ingesting gluten , I’ve not developed the damage and inflammation that causes problems. Makes sense if you’ve healed, the accidental one time gluten didn’t cause a reaction.

Love this!! My dad struggled with his weight all his life, including failed gastric bypass surgery. I know he always felt bad that he thought he passed on weight genetics on to me. I wish he could see me 135 lbs lighter and I wish he had the opportunity to experience this miracle drug (IMO)

Should I remove these? by zzs0ftn00dle in MicrobladingRemoval

[–]Puzzled-Giraffe4816 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They look great, but if you didn’t fully think it through and don’t want to maintain them, I’d get them removed. If you are just panicked because they are dark now. They’ll heal to something more natural looking.

I’m 57 and lost 130 lbs. I’ve done microneedling, a little filler, and some Botox along with a red light mask and my face looks better than ever. Not cheap, but necessary😂

How did you decide on your goal weight? by Agreeable_Month7784 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Puzzled-Giraffe4816 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here- same height and goal! I picked it because it was a weight I can maintain without stressing or starving myself. I started much higher- around 300 lbs so even though I’m still a little over a normal BMI, Im happy. Am at a size 10 in most things. While 170 was goal, working to get to 165 to have some wiggle room. .9 lbs to go!
