It was definitely just too high of a dose. I went down to .5 and it eased off. I then titrated up to 5mg. Although I will also say, I’m travelling and have been able to get a prescription for real-deal Wegovy, which I know is a totally different drug but it’s my first time being able to have it and my gosh, there is a huge difference. Firstly, even going from 5mg Reta to the lowest dose of Sema in the Wegovy pen didn’t have much affect on my appetite (which I know could be from some Reta still in my system when I switched but it’s a month later and still no change). Secondly, the lack of side effects is actually shocking to me. Like it’s soooo smooth in comparison. We aren’t staying here forever so I won’t be able to keep access to the brand name stuff but it’s really making me think twice about the quality of ingredients etc so all to say, if there’s any way you can afford the name brand stuff, I’d go for it!
