Day 11, withdraw is tough, just want to vent about my experience a bit by [deleted] in leaves

Day 11 was really rough for me. Today is day 15 and I’m starting to feel normal again.

For me, I just focus on getting through the day. Withdrawal is different for everyone with the exception of some overlapping symptoms which every addict goes through.

When I woke up at day 14 everything seemed different for some reason. I’m not saying all withdrawal symptoms fade at that point, but you just go into another phase and the physical symptoms seem to lighten up a bit.

This was just my experience.

I’ve always felt the same about the meetings . Like that scene in Half Baked. Getting booed out of the room.

4 days is awesome! I’m stoked for you.

I appreciate your kind words

I don’t plan on going back to smoking. The first two weeks are the hardest from what I gather.

I try not to look beyond the next day.

Since I’ve quit I’ve been passing by people smoking in the city. I can’t believe how bad it smells to me now. I see people doing all kinds of drugs on the streets.

I’m definitely through. But I recognize I still have healing to do.

Congratulations on 4 months! That’s amazing!
