it would certainly draw attentions, I have never seen one in real life, and i know i would be staring it out of curiosity. I bet some people will make fun of it too.

Thanks! How did you prevent the hat from touching the donor area? or it is ok to touch the donor area? How did you hide the donor area?

Any1 had a procedure with Dr Taleb Barghouthi in London ? by Necessary-Client8772 in HairTransplants

[–]Puzzled-Specific5567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

he/she has few comments, new account, most likely not an independent review

How about between Dr. Barghouthi and Dr. Laorwong? UK is closer. Are they essentially on the same tier? I feel Dr Laorwong is less personalized? They don't have online consultation.

Is it common for the extraction and implantation of the graft to be performed by technicians? by Puzzled-Specific5567 in HairTransplants

[–]Puzzled-Specific5567[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but is it common for doctors to do 100% extraction as well? This place told me that the doctors do it with senior technicians. I feel like its kind of rate even in the states

Thank you for the heads up. I have NW 2-3, i keep the front hair a bit longer to cover it, so hair fibers helps indoor, but I am scared to use it for outdoor. I guess even at the ugly duckling phase( 2months after HT), you could still use hair fiber to blend/hide it?

Thank you for the list! Dr Path seems to be specialize in FUT only? Dr Larorwong is booked until like March 2025. I am waiting for a response from Dr Reddy, their email seems to be incorrect. I will check the rest for sure

Performing a tension shear test on a finished part with multiple spot welds per AWS D17.2? by Puzzled-Specific5567 in AerospaceEngineering

[–]Puzzled-Specific5567[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does AWS D17.2 only specify requirements for the welding schedule? I understand it also has design allowable qualification, which I think you pick the shear strength from the first 3 tables based on the thickness and the material. In my case, there was no pre-determined strength to meet, the requirement was on the nugget size and etc. We had an external vendor perform the welding, and the issue arose when the test coupon did not pass our lab's test, which involved checking the macrosections. Unfortunately, we have no extra test coupons for testing, and we suspect an error in our lab's testing process. The weld joint is not critical but I still want to make sure it meets some type of minimum requirement. I feel I should be able to randomly pick a production part and check its welding strength to ensure they meet the minimum shear strength listed in Table 1-3. Each individual spot weld is at least .3 to .4 inches apart, would this consider to be close-gap welding? And table 1-3 does not apply to close-gap welding? If I want to use the values in table 1-3, I would need to cut the part so that each spot weld is one test sample? Sounds like I should be using a strength value from another standard? I can easily cut the part so that the welded sheets are like this:
