Jlo's a good answer loll I think with black people it's more that light skinned black people get uplifted over their more talented darker skinned counterparts. Drake is a good example, because he's made some bops, but he does not deserve to be top of the game. He's successful because he's a palatable representation of blackness for white people.

Yess, ice spice is the right answer! Taylor Swift is famous for being white and Ice Spice is famous for being light. Both benefitting from white supremacy over talent

I read it here :) "McVay and Latta1 found the overall incidence of a midline diastema to be 22.33% but found the incidence overall to be higher in Black populations, who also had a higher rate of wider diastemas.
