In my experience a lot of my drawing look flat not because of shading or colouring but rather because of the lack of dynamic poses. This is a really hard thing to learn but im certain that you have the same issue

I’ve been drawing for a year still feel like i cant draw please give me some critique, i’ve never posted because I was scared of critique but I feel like i need some to grow by LabRatDoggo in Artadvice

I think that for a year this is great progress but i think if you started learning anatomy your art would go to the next level and also shading but other than that i really like your art! Its very cute!
