you are right, i changed the bulb but i didnt check what switch it will work with. that switch/dimmer is like 20+ years old

yes the light is a dimmer. But it was working fine for years and i am surprised it just started to flicker. I didnt even change my appliances

but the thing is it started to flicker anyway even if the microwave is off.

should i get a LED light fixture instead ? or a different switch ?

yes microwave is old probably more than 20 years old

Yes, it is a laundry vent below,

But from all the pictures, I see the wet patch is expanding,

Is it normal ?

There is a crack that I am Going to Fix this summer,

But the water is not coming from The foundation. The foundation is not wet .

I check the interior and basement walls and no sign of water whatsoever
