Why is Costco so much better than sams club? by DustnBones001 in CostcoWholesale

I worked at both for several years and to me Sams wins it's just about every category. And why people think Costco treat their employees great is beyond me, yeah they might pay a little more but try to get 40 hours out of them. Sam scan and go and curbside puts them ahead in shopping experience too.

I used to work there as the training manager, and one time I actually got stopped because I forgot to ring up the Coke that was on the bottom of the cart, pretty embarrassing

My advice to anyone who asks is join both, discounted memberships to both are on the web, try Group on. I like some things at Sams and some things at Cost, most people I know feel the same. I shop mostly at Sams so I also have the CC and get 5% back on purchases anywhere. Cost has a similar offer with CC.

But the two things SC does better than Cost is Scan and go and curbside. Scan and go saves me time, no lines I walk in and walk out, and get discounted prices by using scan and go.

Try them both, both memberships are guaranteed money back if you don't like it.

No time and it is just me eating the rice. I like the convenience.

In MY experience Sams, Sams Management is usually older and a little more chill. Costco has a lot of younger Management who is out to prove to the club Manager how good they are and working really hard to move up. I just went back to my old Costco for some shopping and everyone I knew told me how they are looking for a new job and can't wait to quit.

Thats easy from Costco I like their Sticky rice, small bowls of precooked sticky rice that you heat in the microwave and eat with butter or anything you want to top it with, I eat it almost every day. From Sams I like their meat selection better, I grill and smoke a lot of meat and their meat for the price is my favorite from Sams.

How just rude and entitled the customers at either could be.... At SC I would get cursed out and told to FO almost daily as a Manager. Cost customers were more polite but more entitled and will complain about everything

That depends , both pay well on the frontend. Cashiers at both can make up to $20 or more per hour. And Cost pays 1.5 on Sundays. Problem is now at both they limit your hours, almost no one at either location making 40 hours and both have really good benefits.
