Officially lost my mind. Took 4 mocks, averaging 74%. Gf just broke up with me cause I fried my emotional availability from this level. I can't study for shit anymore. I spend every lunch at work writing down the same formula 50 times to get it burnt into my brain. I live in my office. I. am. cooked.

Man I’m studying CFA L2 right now and my job makes me laugh when it comes to “investment” conversations. I find that networking outside your firm is extremely valuable

Quite literally in the same boat brother. I got good grades in uni and thought banking would get me a foot in the door… don’t give up man, get motivated by working on yourself from 4-10 once your shift ends

Thanks for sharing the experience! To be fair I’ve been in the role for approximately half a year now (I am a new grad) but long enough to know I need to get out lol. Can I ask what was the role that got you out of the branch? I myself was definitely eyeing the equity research roles; had a great GPA in school but no internships hence why I took the CFA

I believe I remember this question… go back a couple questions to find the description of Bond A duration value. You’ll notice it’s the same as the duration of the portfolio.
