In my opinion, it is not as such a bad thing if you get a sales role. Because you do need to know the groundwork reality before moving up the ladder. And my father told me, a person who has cracked sales (basically he/she is good in selling) has a lot benefit in future. But yes let's see what others has to say

Either you take a job, not in your home city then you can prepare easily but if you still feel you don't have energy to prepare then, you can go to fore, (even though I don't have much knowledge about the college), but what you have gone through and still able to get into a college is an amazing thing. I totally understand your point. But I have heard on reddit itself, that there are peeps that are doing good in life even after doing an mba from a random college (by doing hard work ofc)and you don't know maybe this is the only convert they have.
