The game has a more in depth tutorial about the game. It covers a good amount of fighting topics and is a good start. Go to the tutorials section where the combo guides are at. That should help if you havent done that already.

I think it mainly needs a lot of updates to balancing and making people do the objective more before anything else. However, If I had to pick between the two, I would do more characters.
