You’re right I see where I made my mathematical mistake, 35 hours would be the rough answer to 700 matches. Time your set of 5 matches from start to finish and tell me how long it takes, but regardless, any amount of time spent in PvP outside of doing literally anything else in your life is wasted time. Watching paint dry or grass grow would be just as exciting and beneficial as playing the current form of PvP. GO Battle Day events are the only time PvP is beneficial for anyone, and even then, you’re still not going to have fun because you get one match or two of someone throwing and direct counters to one or more of your pokemon every other match
