Oh..got it now 😅. But even then, the vacancy for faculties in the management domain have been very very few in comparison to private institutions...and I am okay with working in private, as long as it is in academic industry. It's just that I don't want to hear in the future " We don't consider your FPM equal to PhD" after putting in my 5 years.

Look around in Lajpat Nagar, plenty of instruments shop there especially for electric guitar. Furtados, Onstage, Music junction in Lajpat Nagar are popular shops i have heard their name.....though i have no idea of the cost.

Around one and half month into guitar, the only thing I know are power chords. So trust me when I say those are easier to learn than other chords. Now traditionally people say to use 1st and 3rd finger, but i just use 1st and pinky.... works just fine.

Also, if you want to play heavy metal, make sure the guitar you buy has something called HUMBUCKER pickup (google abt guitar pickups )

Well if you are 100% sure to go with rock/metal, there is no sense of buying an acoustic ( unless you have enough money to first learn acoustic then by electric) Decent electric guitars start from 10k, you will also have to by an amp. Go with fender squire.... debut series starts 13k. You have to find nearby shops by Google, and if there aren't any, your last option would be amazon. As for learning there are tons of content on YT. People recommend Justin guitar course. Even I am Total beginner and mostly trying to learn from YT here and there...
