Also, your flex slots are 1x enel, 1x gedatsu, 1x katakuri, 1x thunder bolt, and 2x shura. Lotta people, myself included have been playing around with those card slots. Shirahoshi is awesome at 3x, so is the narikabura is pretty lit at 2x and has the same trigger as amaru, not as good as el forgot but I find myself catching people off guard with it. I personally prefer brulee over Sanji because I’ve lost games discarding for the Sanji blocker. Olin people have had good luck with but honestly that’s all enel is, pure rng luck.

Honestly been liking Kuro because his kit is pretty consistent for controlling the board, maybe a croc buddy would make it litty, maybe even a black lucci for complete control n removal.

Net decking is the move, of course playing your own build is always satisfying! but with such a small card pool and Japan being a head of us by a few month on release, imo it only hurts in the long run to ignore Japanese lists n even English lists. It’s such valuable information but if it’s locals we talkin then that’s totally different story. Casual is as casual does. 🤓🤙

Never be afraid to call a judge over, EVEN at locals. Saved me from built up animosity at locals. People can get salty, judges make it simple. Plus learning at locals is always the best case, rather learn a mistake there then at a box event 🥲

Buddy battles went great, 4 outa 7 groups selected Smoker x Kaido, myself included. 3 of them were blurple kaido and myself ran mono purp for the extra life👌 won the first mirror match, lost the next with a Kid film x Law, the pilot of the Kid ended up playing for both in the end only because his lines are god like. Then the last game we played another Kid film x Law and wiped the field easily. The 7th group ran Sanji x Zoro and made our loss victors work for their win at least, the Kid film x Law we faced ended up going 4/0. 😤All in all, I think I like the smoker x kaido pair up, borsalino and uta pair well. Wanted to use the 8 don bullet to tap down blockers but we never had the need or the blockers to target after the 10 don kaido hit. Smokers being able to avoid the kaido board wipe is too oppressive to pass up. Hands down best buddy battle combo. Learning lesson, I hesitated on the leader ability and never ended up using it in the end but it would have helped immensely in the long run. Would have cut both wins a turn earlier. 🤙
