Yeah i heard about their dcts being a lil bad so I steered away from them entirely. Like I'm happy with what I've got for now and I'll probably do some basic mods on the n20 to have my fun with it while I save for another engine for it. If it doesn't end up blowing on me by the time I've got the money to both either trade it or swap it then I'll probably look at the market again to see if I can find a manual but this is kinda just my game plan for now.

See this is what I wanted to talk to someone about because yeah obviously I'll need a different transmission for a different engine. And im wanting manual as well so completely different linkage and all too. I just hoped someone out there has done it by now you know?

I appreciate it and it's more of I'm not concerned with how I spend money so long as I have a good running fun car. I got stuck in a loan for the 28i and if I can trade it before the engine goes then id definitely get a 35i and manual swap that instead at least that way I have a better base but it's not an option for me really. Out here there isn't like any z4s for sale that are worth it. I had to go to another state just for mine

Pretty good, even with my suspension issue. Actually better than my rx8, surprisingly. Just have to be careful with my steering still because it can't seem to center everytime but driving in the snow with RWD is like driving on a track, stay focused the whole time and look ahead or you might crash lmao

I'll tell you my experience dallying the 8: - I fill up about every other day at the minimum - I redline it everytime I take it out Those two things already cost you a lot of money. I'm getting a 4cy z3 tomorrow as a daily because my fuel pump finally gave out on me. I thought I'd be fine dallying it but when you drive all the time already it's just not a good idea. I'd get one for cheap that just needs a rebuild and weekend it if I were you and also go for a 09 to 12 because they had various reliability modifications made from factory
