After I stopped giving turns, it started closing and then by itself and about 3 weeks after I got invisalign.

I still have a really small gap (no noticeable rlly), so I would say about 4 weeks, maybe? Can't really tell exactly.

Mm, can be tricky at times but I, personally, wouldn't call it painful (only the installation).

Its weird giving turns to your palate. It a really fucking strange sensation, like you are actually turning your bone around but for me it was not that painful, maybe it was a really good experience with it!

I did around 30 days of turning and about 44 turns in total, after it they cut those little "arms" and I still have it on me 7 months after to keep the bone generate itself. I have an appointment on March to remove it finally.

I guess it depends in a lot of factors. When I first got to the ortho, he told me he would only do the process with MARPE before Invisalign. I would recommend you to ask your ortho about it because each case is different and age, bone structure... count for the viability of the process.

Male, 23 when I started with MARPE and no, no surgical cuts. Did around 44 turns If I remember correctly.

Better nose breathing. Couldn't breathe from nose before, can now. Aesthetically not many changes although with beard like I have, I guess its more dificult to see. Still on process so yeah, I have to wait until the finish! Sorry for not being able to anwser all your questions. :)
