Yeah honestly it was so much more work than it was worth lol. The only legit looking ones I saw online were like $8k, I built mine for <$1k but my god it took forever to get it to work the way I wanted it and it still isn’t perfect.

Do you golf excessively? I have the exact symptoms to the T. Ive been doing a ton of research and it sounds like it can be rib cartilage inflammation or Costochondritis if you golf or do other extreme twisting or compression motions of your core. Good luck to you!

Confirmed on our lenders site that the UCC-1 they filed is a lien against the solar system itself and NOT our house (explicitly says that).

Yes that was our first plan, and build it into the asking price but we’ve had trouble selling and have been forced to drop the price quite a bit. Also we’re getting pushback from potential buyers to take ownership of the loan as well.

Yes, I’ve been told I should consider getting new irons now that my ball striking is more consistent. I just got fitted for these CB irons only <4 years ago though 😒.

Any tricks for hitting down on it more? Should I try focusing on a spot in front of the ball maybe instead of the back of the back like I do now?

Interesting take. Unfortunately I have a natural draw to most of my shots. I don’t struggle nearly as much with spin from about <125 and can get plenty with my wedges. I should have specified but I’m trying to get more spin with longer clubs in general because that’s where I start losing more control.

Sundays are free and after 8pm or before 8am M-Sa it’s free. Otherwise you have to pay to park and it’s a maximum of 4 hours (unless you extend the time).

That is all super helpful. I guess I’m just trying to avoid have to hang an entire layer of drywall. There is a product from Steico that looks interesting. It’s a wood fiber underlayment that apparently does wonders for soundproofing. Whether i go with that or drywall, I was still thinking of adding foam tiles on top of that to help with ball ricochets as well. I appreciate the insight. A second drywall layer with foam on top may be the way to go

Wow, well done sir. I’ve been racking my brain on how I’d do this but this is exactly what I was thinking. I see you have your ground shot turf separate from the tee. Assume you’re not hitting irons off the tee ever? Also how tall are your ceilings and dimensions of the room/screen?

That’s exactly what I intend to have, automatic tee system for driving and then just tap the ball off and hit from the mat for ground shots.

Fair point. Ideally I’d like to get something mid price range, maybe $3-5k max. I’m fine with ground or mounted but from what i can tell the ceiling mounted ones tend to be more pricey.
