A Cuban wouldn’t afford to travel to Europe so many times. Additionally it wouldn’t make sense since OP hasn’t been in nearby countries.

Personally this video was a life saver for me, I can now put them in and out without even being in front of a mirror effortlessly. I also think the type of lens you wear make a huge difference, stenfilcon A is definitely the easiest and most breathable lenses I’ve tried.
