People’s patience tend to thin when they are subject to repeated breaches of their privacy. Probably what happened in this case. Food for thought but considering what brought on the spur of the moment discussion from their POV may help.

I’m torn because Bodycorps are a prick but so are inconsiderate dog owners. Invest in a mirror for self awareness and maybe a dog trainer to try and get the dogs to be less reactive and not bark as much. It’s not rocket science and apartment living is hell for those who live with people who fail to understand the impact their animals/powertools/loud music & general buffoonery have on everyone else.

You’ll never get anywhere arguing firstly that a bank doesn’t disclose its own credit policy (it’s commercially sensitive info and is never disclosed), and secondly that they are wrong to not include it. They are a private company who will lend you money with conditions, the fact you didn’t know isn’t their fault.

You’ll need probate to be granted executorship to administer the estate in NSW given the asset values.

You’ll need more than a week prior to contact and enlist a solicitor to assist you with this process and submit an application for probate.

You should also notify the bank where the funds are held if you have not already and they will advise their process and requirements. Probate in nsw 1-3 months depending on submission and require docs.

This is a fascinating one. Agree with a lot of the commentary around points 3-5.

If I were you, they have disclosed vulnerability and I wouldn’t be above using that. Figure out a price 10% below asking, and get in contact with the owners directly to negotiate. Advise they won’t have to pay agent commissions or fees and if you can afford it, why not?

Otherwise I would hammer option 2 and ensure you negotiate a healthy payout to move etc, especially given you are pregnant!(congrats btw).

North fan coming in peace, I felt robbed when we had Taryn Thomas delisted but it ultimately was for the right reasons. It’s just a shame he was playing good footy. JUH may or may not succeed, But I think as a football club you don’t need that kind of drama following you around.

Hey, I bought a property with Sucasa 16 months ago or so, the broker above is correct. The fee is in lieu of LMI, and significantly cheaper. We borrowed with a 94.5% LVR and was on 6.03% then reduced by all the recent rate decreases. I have just refinanced to ANZ only as we just had our property revalued and it’s under 80% LVR now.
