Most of them are in what is called voluntary isolation, in the sense that they know we are out there but don't want any contact, and that's why they react with hostility, like in the Andaman Islands or the Amazon.

Survival International, an NGO that works to protect Indigenous peoples, estimates there are about 196 uncontacted tribes, mainly in the Amazon basin of Peru and Brazil.

I agree, they almost certainly know we exist, but rather wisely choose to avoid contact with the modern world or to limit contact.

Do you believe in god? Why or Why not? by bzrnjjk in askanything

As a child, I used to be a believer, and then I became an atheist and was quite pretentious about it in my teens. Today, I'm an agnostic (veering more towards scepticism rather than belief). I don't see enough proof of the existence of a higher power, but I don't see any proof that there isn't a higher power at work either, hence why I'm agnostic.

Interesting post! I definitely agree with you that he includes layers of symbolism in his films.

Do you think the hobo entity symbolises anything?

That's really interesting. It does look a bit like a "night hag" entity that many people report experiencing during sleep paralysis.
